A: I think my favorite would be chess

A: Just Elmer at the moment 

Q: Give us your dumbest PG13 story about something you’ve done.
A: I once, after years of playing D&D at Mike’s house, went to the wrong house on the way to Mike’s. I walked into a strange living room and a little boy looked at me terrified. So I closed the door and ran away.  

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: Elmer, though I am looking forward to a future role. 

Q: Why do you seem so comfortable in the role of a cantankerous, old, cranky, crotchety, strongly opinionated, stubborn mule of a goblin?
A: Elmer is the animal I identify with, I think.  

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A:  Weekends are family time, so fishing or movies or whatever. 

Q: Have you ever driven through a burger king backwards, and why or why not?  
A: Yes, but only because I didn’t want to order and Mike was in the passenger seat, so I went backwards so he could order. I wouldn’t recommend it though, other cars headlights are tough when you’re facing the wrong direction.   

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Right now I’m really digging Hastings from the Isfet Archives.

Q: Would you rather sneeze tiny flakes of gold that you could save up and eventually melt down or have toenails that are made of silver but grow slower than normal? 
A: I think you have to go with the sneezes, at least they can be provoked.

Q: How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
A: I started playing TTRPGs about 12 years ago. It all started with a Lord of the Rings based game called The One Ring. 

Q: When did you start experimenting with mixology? 
A: That is a tough question. I started some minimal bartending when I was 18 but that was solely for work. I probably made my first drink for myself around 22, so that’d be roughly 9 years ago?  

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: My first role in Creative Typo was an NPC named Andrin. Myanor. He is a firbolg Sorcerer explosionist who helped out the villains in campaign 1 of A Fool’s Quest. My second appearance is currently a fire genasi warlock named Fenris who I’m playing in a mini campaign ran by Shamas that airs live in our discord.  

Q: Do you believe in ghosts and if so, why, and also please extrapolate on the why? 
A: I do believe in ghosts because I have had several of my own experiences. Some include seeing shadows, certain items disappearing and then reappearing months later, voices, presences I can somewhat feel. Lots of different experiences.

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: Ayda is bae. I love her and I want her and Andrin to get into more shenanigans together. 

Q: What is your favorite sauce?
A: Does white queso count as a sauce? This is a really tough question because I LOVE sauces. If white queso doesn’t count, I’d say vodka sauce.  

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A:  Get a little high, drink a little wine, and play some D&D

Q: Since you live in Oklahoma and there are like a million different bugs there, what was your least favorite bug to get in your mouth? 
A: I think the only bug that has noticeably been in my mouth is a gnat and I gotta say, 10/10 don’t recommend.  

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Sebastian. I would die for Sebastian. Bring back the leather suits.  

Q: If you had $10k to spend at any store in the world, where would you go and why? 
A: I think I’d go to best buy. I’d get an entirely new desk and computer setup with beautiful, curved monitors. New mics and possibly a better midi keyboard for recording. And I’d continue that streak getting a new entertainment system and probably a new nespresso maker. There are so many things I could get there and I’d be in heaven.

Q: How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
A: I’ve been playing TTRPGs since I was 14, so 26 years I guess. Werewolf was my very first one. 

Q: When did you get into foraging? 
A: I got into foraging probably 15 years ago, during morel season. I stumbled across one with a friend who knew what it was, and then we went looking, and I haven’t stopped. 

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I played Francis the Lion in AFQ, and now am the DM of the same. I also contributed lines for Isfet Archives, as detective Bullard. 

Q: Do you have a favorite species of bunny?
A: No

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: Francis the Lion was a lot of fun. Let me sort of live out some of those ego-fantasies, plus I got to stick it to GAG-ME. 

Q: What is your favorite thing about being a drug dealer?
A: The customers – They’re always happy. Any other retail they’re a bunch of jerks, but not mine. I think I’ve dealth with, on average, one lousy customer a year. 

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A:  Hiking or foraging or whatnot. Something outdoors, preferably in the woods. There’s just always so much stuff to see!

Q: Since you are in the woods a lot, if a pope poops in the woods and no one is around, does it smell?
A: It doesn’t, but it DOES smell when a bear poops in the Pope’s hat. But it doesn’t smell how you’d think. 

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Ayda, Ayda is just so great to listen to, you can HEAR the eye rolls when she’s dealing with Franci and Hesh’s nonsense. I know that exact feeling, when you’re sort of stuck with a real doofus, and you just gotta put up with them. And plus, she’s a stone cold badass. 

Q: If you had your choice of systems for DMing with your choice of players, what system would you choose, i.e. star wars, shadowrun? 
A: The Battletech RPG. The Battletech univers is just so lore-rich, I find it more immersive.

Q: How long have you been playing TTRPGs?

A: Not very long actually! I’ve only played about 4 times. Microphones and Monster was the first full campaign I ever completed playing! I’ve always dipped at toe in most TTRPG inspired video games for years.

Q: Why are you obsessed with tiny plastic figurines, did your dad not hug you?

A: Hahaha! Its probably because of my Dad! He was my biggest influence growing up. He led me to all of my interests and hobbies. He introduced me to my 1st videos games at an early age and all manner of Sci-Fi Movies and Comic Book TV shows. I was hooked! He went with me for my first miniature purchase. I could barely paint them without making a huge mess! Now I am a giant man child with disposal income and slightly more patience to paint the models. It’s relaxing. Listening to music or podcasts, sipping tea, and painting my little toy soldiers and tanks.

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?

A: Poor Comedy Relief? Tangent Generator? Warhammer 40K or Jojo Reference? I play Dr. Julian Cottage on the Microphones & Monsters Series. I have played other less memorable characters on some of our One-shot stories

Q: What is your most memorable vacation story?

A: Uhhhh, I went to the Outer Banks, NC for a beach trip and got into a weeeee bit of trouble with Johnny Law. Nothing malicious, just don’t light fires on the beach at night and drink unsupervised. Oh, I took Sarah [SK8C] halfway up a trail in the Georgia Mountains near a waterfall and broke her leg. She lived lol.

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?

A: It would have to be Julian. I spent the most time with him. 1st time playing Artificer which was A LOT of fun. Learning that class. I would do something different if given the chance again. Character wise, he was a blast. Mr Do-No-Wrong-unless-you-shoot-glass-with-Lightning-Gun. I look forward to new exciting characters in the future.

Q: When you are a dad will you hug your kids?

A: As long as I still have arms, everyday if possible.

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?

A:  Play Games, Paint Models, and spend time with my girlfriend and her doggos.

Q: Why don’t you like sour cream? Does that mean you don’t like cream cheese either? Do you not like anything white or something? Isn’t your dad white?

A: So this question definitely came from Sarah… And I will admit, most people I have met like Cream Cheese and Sour Cream. I don’t like them. They have weird tastes to me. But you know what isn’t normal: NOT LIKING ONIONS! I’m dating an alien, I think…

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?

A: Manrose feels like a cop out answer because everyone loves Manrose. I really liked the Green-Eyed Cat. Adam’s voice for him really sold it for me. Plus it allowed Julian to make fun of Aleister’s Imaginary friend.

Q: Who do you think is the funniest member of Mics and Monsters? List them.

A: Victor because it comes too naturally for his good nature. Some of Steven’s setups were gold! All of the Yakfolk because of Adam’s voice. All of the DreadTek Cast that cameo’d. I wish I could continue adventures with them!

Q: How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
A: Only since late 2019 actually. I played for a couple months in the last leg of an existing DnD campaign Adam was running before signing on to play in M&M: Darkwell Chronicles. So I have much less experience than most people in the group. 

Q: What is your comfort movie? 
A: I have a few long-time favorites (Back to the Future + Ghostbusters particularly in my childhood), but I don’t have a particular “comfort movie” the way most people do. In the past though, I’ve found myself going back and watching Cast Away when I feel really sad or alone. Misery loves the company of a miserable Tom Hanks, I guess? 

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I recently wrapped up playing Victor Stodge, a mythos ghoul monk, in Michrophones & Monsters: Darkwell Chronicles and am currently recording lines for the character of TISHA ERASED THIS NAME in The Riftborn (Unless we’re not allowed to say specific Riftborn stuff yet, in which case put whatever’s appropriate here Tisha)
I will also be playing CHARACTER NAME AND DESCRIPTION REDACTED in the new series of Microphones & Monsters coming later this year sometime!

Q: What is your most memorable vacation story?
A: Probably a cop-out answer, but my honeymoon. I got mildly injured on our wedding night, so I was in a good deal of pain at certain points. But we got to stay in a hotel on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood and see a bunch of the sights, which  was super fun because neither one of us had been to the West Coast before. I also sprung for the VIP Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, so we have a picture of us standing on the steps of the house from Psycho and got to go inside their prop warehouse. Really neat stuff.

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: I’d have to say Victor, simply because I spent so much time playing him and building his character. And because I haven’t really done much other voice acting or roleplaying anyway. 

Q: Why are you so weird about food, did you get dropped on an arby’s sandwich as a baby?
A: I honestly have no idea. I’ve had a bunch of strange food aversions my entire life. In elementary school, I took yogurt to school for lunch every day because I can’t eat sandwiches. It’s this whole big thing that doesn’t actually make sense. Don’t ask more questions, as I don’t have good answers for you. 

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A:  I enjoy browsing shops that sell Blu-rays and DVDs, either new or secondhand. I’m always looking to add to and upgrade my large physical media collection. I also like watching the things I have, playing the occasional video game, hanging out with my wife, and attending church services on Sunday morning. 

Q: What did you want to be when you were 20?
A: At 20, I was leaning towards becoming a middle school math teacher. I did not progress very far down that path and everyone is thankful for that. However, a few years before when I was in high school, I was seriously considering a career in radio or broadcasting. So I ended up scratching that itch through Creative Typo.

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Is it egotistical to say Victor Stodge? Because it’s probably Victor Stodge. I love the guy. If I can’t pick him, probably Gerbo. He’s so peppy and helpful!

Q: Where did you meat your wife? 
A: I wanted an air freshener for my car, so I went to the mall. She had just started a part-time job at Yankee Candle and was tasked with keeping me busy while the ladies who knew what they were doing looked for the item I wanted that they didn’t have in stock. I bought something else to keep chatting with her then left the store. 
After calling my best friend and wandering around the mall for an hour or so, I got up the nerve to go back and ask for her number. We went on a date a week later and got married about 9 months after that. We’ll have been married for 6 years in April. I love her very much.

Q: How long have you been playing D&D?
A: Well over 20 years. 

Q: What is the strangest/silliest character or NPC you’ve created?
A: God Gygax: the mountainous top torso of Gary Gygax and the bottom half of an octopus with a table splitting the two at the waist. He grants boons based on what is rolled from the d20 he hands the player.

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I played Hesh in A Fool’s Quest. I voice some parts in upcoming shows as well as have written and directed for some soon to be announced shows.

Q: What’s one voice impression you can’t do but would love to be able to do?
A: Ryan Reynolds

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: Hesh is the only known character I’ve played for Creative Typo. So, by default it’d be him, although there are plenty of memorable NPCs and characters I’ve played outside of CT.

Q: What’s your favorite sandwich to eat for lunch?
A: Peanut butter with strawberry preserves.

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A: Play League of Legends, watch, TV, and do nothing… just hang around and not be needed.

Q: If you had to choose only one video game that you could play for the rest of your life, what would it be and how toxic would you get?
A: Probably League of legends, unfortunately. I’d like to pick a more immersive game that continues to expand but there simply aren’t great choices like that out there. I wouldn’t be toxic – I used to be very toxic the first few years of playing league. Now I am hella chill when I play.

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Moses and Nanna. It’s a tie, deal with it.

Q: What class would you take in real life and why? 
A: Likely a rogue. Bard close second. Being a clever little Jack of All Trades is kind of my niche. I’m a lovable scamp that enough people rightfully hate. It suits me, I suppose

Q: How long have you been playing D&D?
A: I started playing DnD somewhere around the beginning of 2019. 

Q: Why do you hate onions and would you ever put them on the bottom of your feet while you sleep to remove the toxic trait of hating onions?
A: Dude, me and onions just don’t get along. I try to be a big girl and just eat them in my food, but I just can’t! I inherited some wonderful texture issues from my mother and just can’t do onions. I have like a visceral reaction when I accidentally eat one..

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I manage social media for Creative Typo, mostly for Microphones and Monsters at the moment, but will be taking on more as we grow. I help out with the newsletter as needed and I also help Adam and Nico with a bunch of various behind the scenes work. I have my hands in a few of the super secret squirrel projects, so stay tuned to see what’s coming!

Q: Have you ever tried onion rings???
A: I have! Weirdly, I used to eat Burger King onion rings a lot when I was younger. 

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: I like helping people, so honestly I’m just happy to be a part of the crew doing whatever I can!

Q: What do you do when you go to Outback Steakhouse? Just ont eat the blooming onion?
A: Precisely. LOL

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A: I have an inappropriate answer about who I like t —– I’ll just leave that to the imagination. But otherwise, I play video games on the weekends to de-stress. I also like to meet up with friends to play board games or watch movies. We also usually all cook and eat dinner together too!  

Q: Did you ever play parappa the rapper, do you even hate fictional onions? What about the onion knight in dark souls 2?
A: I never played either of those games, but I’ll go out on a limb and assume that yes, I would probably blindly hate fictional onions as well. 

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Well, I’m a total Mics & Monsters fan girl, so I’m a bit partial to their characters. Manrose is of course a classic favorite. I definitely fell in love with Victor when I first started listening. But I’m listening to Ethereal Embrace right now and I smile and laugh so much every time Baya hugs other characters. She’s precious.

Q: If you were to marry a fictional character that is dead, who would they be and why? 
A: Eddie Munson. Hands down. Because it’s Eddie. No further reason needed.

Q: How long have you been playing D&D?
A: I played a ttrpg for the first time when I was around 5. But started playing consistently about ten years ago. 

Q: What is your favorite fake vegan meat?
A: Hmm, probably carne asada made with Butler’s Soy Curls. Here is a recipe I loosely follow.

Q: What roles/characters do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I play Sylvia in Dreadtek inc, Baya Rustin in Ethereal Embrace. I voice Macy, Mew Tawny and a few others in the NPC interludes. I also will be voicing some fun characters in the audio dramas coming out. I have started making official merch for Creative Typo as well as doing the newsletter when a hurricane doesn’t knock my power out.

Q: Which role/character has been your favorite?
A: Sylvia was so fun. I really enjoyed her Christopher Street persona. But I think my favorite was working with Nico on the Isfet Archives script.

Q: What is your favorite thing about living in Florida?
A: Not sliding into a ditch in the winter. Tied closely with not busting my ass on the ice walking to my car.

Q: What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A: Reading a book on the beach with a drink or playing video games with my friends. 

Q: How do you feel about hurricanes? And why?
A: You know what, I miss one newsletter and I get this question… you guys are buttheads. Honestly, they are scarier than I expected. So I guess I feel humbled by them. And the reason why is because I just experienced hurricane Ian and it hit my area hardest in the middle of the night while all the power was out.

Q: Who is your favorite character (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: Malphaedor’s hat

Q: When was the last time you threw your cat across the room? You monster…
A: 😂 This only came up because I said the winds from hurricane Ian at one point sounded like several cats being thrown down the street. Last time I TOSSED a cat anywhere was when my cat climbed on my table and was drinking out of a cup that had alcohol in it. And alcohol is like poisonous to cats or something so I was really just saving her life.

Q: How long have you been playing D&D?
A: I have been playing now for a little over two years. A Fool’s Quest was my first ever game. 

Q: What is your favorite cartoon?
A: Omg my favorite cartoon is so hard to pin down!! I really LOVE Bob’s Burgers but also love the classic cartoons that played on Saturday mornings as a kid: Heathcliff, Looney Tunes, Thundercats, Garfield… 

Q: What roles do you play in Creative Typo?
A: I mainly play the Drow rogue Ayda, I post on behalf of the show for Instagram, and I’ve thrown on a few NPCs as well. Large Marge, Judge Brie and there is one more I can’t think of at the moment. 

Q: What is your favorite thing about playing Ayda?
A: My favorite thing playing Ayda has to be her discovering all the things she can do. She has spells and equipment she hasn’t quite gotten to use yet and I’m very excited for her to figure those things out.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A: My favorite weekend activities would be road trips! Back in May we decided to go to Louisiana and swim with otters! I love being outdoors as much as possible!

Q: When did you and Chris meet?
A: September 2018 is when I met Christopher. But the first time actually meeting and talking to him would have been a few months prior. At first I did not care for him and thought I wanted to punch him in the face lol. 

Q: What is your favourite charactuer (npc/pc) in all of Creative Typo?
A: My favorite character is hard to pin down. But Nana and Ayda are pretty tight. We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner next year together!

Q: If you could meet any famous person alive or dead who would it be and why?
A: Hanging out with some comedians and musicians would be so awesome! I want whoever that famous person/people to be someone who can make me laugh and have a really good time with. People like Ryan Reynolds, Eminem, The Rolling Stones (back in their heyday), Robin Williams, George Carlin, 21 Pilots… I could go on but you didn’t say one soo….
